Every second Saturday of each month, Malindi residents join together and participate in the Nyumba Kumi Monthly clean up.
This month of September saw a large number of Malindi communities come together to clean up the beachfront.
The monthly clean-up activity acts as a collaborative and networking effort once a month to highlight our collective responsibility for Malindi. This once-a-month clean-up keeps our spirits high as we constantly clean up our immediate areas as well as our Nyumba Kumi neighborhoods.
This coming Saturday, we join the International Community for the International Coastal Clean up, where different communities & individuals will participate in the clean up from Jacaranda to Ocean beach.
